Help finding a psu.

Hello all. I plan on upgrading my graphics card to a PNY 9800gt which is in my budget. of $100 or less.

I would also like to know if this would Support the Graphics card/ fit in my medium ATX case.

My advice is stay away from Rosewill PSU's.
Look at the Feed back tab on the Newegg page 30 out of 104 rate it one star.

As Lemur pointed out it will be sufficient wattage.

I would go with the GTS 450 but I prefer the new Nvidia cards.

There is nothing wrong with ATI though. Just my preference.

Only thing i'm worried about with that MSI card is space my tower is a Medium ATX case so I am not sure if it will cause much of a problem inside. I do have a lot of empty space though. Also would that card fit in a PCI-e x16 slot ?

Front to back in the case it is 8.27". Side to side it is 4.37".

The video card will work in the PCI 16 slot and the OCZ PSU is plenty of power.

It is a modular PSU so all the power cables are included and some of the main cables are wired into the PSU. The rest you use what you need. It is set up for SLI so the power cable for the video card is included.

Make sure you enter the Promo code on the first check out page at the bottom and then click "Apply". Then it will show the extra discount.

Alright I got a question I just Opened the case and measured the depth of the MSI card which is 8.2". Now if you see from this picture of my MOBO the PCI slot is located pretty close to the Ram Slot holder. My question is will the card clear the distance as the 8.2 inches is past the ram.

yeah. I added to my cart I just don't know if that MSI Gts450 will fit In the picture of my mother board that silver thing that looks like a grill ( I'm sure you guys know the name ) rests higher than the PCIe slot while the card is a good 1.5" thick!

The fan on the video card faces away from the CPU. The flat side faces the CPU. So the fan will be out of the way.

To check Length to RAM slots you will need to measure in YOUR case from the metal card slot cover in the rear of the case to the Ram module.

Card is 8.27". You need 8-3/8" to clear.
