Help Graphics Card Driver Wont install to Get Aero.

Help, i installed the rtm and for some reason i cannot install my graphics card "ati radeon xpress 200 series intergrated" on my computer i use the installer but it doesnt find it, it only has standard vga.

I had this problem with my lappy. I just had to install the driver that was included on my driver CD.

You could download a ZIP of the drivers & unzip to an easy-to-remember folder. Then, in device manager, right-click the VGA adapter & 'update device software...' and browse for the folder you just created. You should then be able to choose the device to install & it will carry on w/o the installer

1. Run the installer downloaded from Here with compatability for Vista & see if that helps
2. Try using a zip utility to extract the contents of the file to a folder & try my original idea

goto WinZip® - The Zip File Utility for Windows - Zip/Unzip, Encrypt/Decrypt download the free trial. install it. double click on the file and it will ask you where you want to save it. pick destination and run the installer from there.
