hi whindoe, and welcome to sevenforums,

how did you used to do it before?

do you not have the web page stored locally?

can you download the page via ftp, edit it on your computer, and upload it again?

That was the advantage to FP

The advantage to alot of us using front page is you open IE open your page, use your tools in IE to edit with Frontpage fix whatever and save and done. Can't do that any more. I think I am going to have to find this Windows Expressions I keep hearing about. Time to do a search. Thanks for answering.

I am an old IT equipment person didn't learn html till became disabled and taught myself. Learned to play on computers instead of work on them or install or teach.

hehe, i learned back in the previous millennium, before wysiwyg tools were much good.

i think the first software i tried was claris home page - as i recall, it was a real dog of a tool - crash city on my old win95 pentium 60 machine with 8 meg ram!

and the code it generated! *shudders* it still gives me nightmares sometimes

Me too

We did everything in Dos. There was no interoffice connection no internet keyboards were 200.00 sheesh and the size uhmm. Telling my age now. LOL My first server using coax putting my own bnc connectors on was 1gb and we thought we had space for a long time. We in IT never thought Windows would get off the ground. I only had to know enough to teach the users but it was Word Perfect and some old main frame we still needed #2 pencils LOL
