Help, I dont know what is happening to my WMP

Hi, my windows media player was working fine with Real Alternative before i downloaded Real Player. Afterward my windows media player doesnt want to play any rmvb files anymore. I tried uninstalling windows media player and real alternative and removing real player but i still cant play any rmvb. Then i found k-lite mega pack then i able to play some rmvb files (but its choppy) and some rmvb files that shows the picture but no sound. Is there anyone that can help? Is there corrupted codecs? If so how can i rewrite the corrupted ones?

Try a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html to a period before you have installed Real Player .

What Arc said and then if that doesn't work you can do a repair install if you have your Win 7 dvd, next real player is real problem stay away try's to take over your computer.
