PS, I did check the recent dump file you uploaded and it comes with the same 7F. Go back to page one and see the usual causes for the bug check.

It does have "bad motherboard" on usual causes :(

Yea the only things I have cooling my comp is the basic fan that comes with the case and the heatsink/fan that comes with the processor.

I built my comp back in 09 if I'm not mistaken.

I think I'll fix that temperature regardless of whether or not it's causing my problems lol. Any suggestions?

111C is at the critical level for the board mate. I assume you're in the US so got to Newegg and get a good after market CPU cooler for you 1156 socket. A Hyper 212 EVO is a good one at about $30, get a second fan for it too. It is 6.25" tall so make sure it will fit your case. There are others which are more low profile as well.

What temps do you get at idle, say after 30 minutes?

Your voltage regulator module (VRM) may be bad causing heat. Since the 1156 is a bit dated You may want to consider a board and CPU upgrade. Also check you system voltages from your BIOS and post them.

It Idles around 90 C and when I game it goes back to 111 C :/

Isnt my cpu still decent? I havent seen much else higher than an i5 (other than an i7) then again you guys are better informed than me.

Also, shouldnt my mobo have some kind of warning or failsafe for high temps? What happened to that? lmao

*update* I smell fire from my power supply. Could speccy be reading power supply as mobo? My computer didn't even crash this time, it just turned on and won't turn on anymore.

Oh-Oh. there are no temp sensors in the PSU. Either it had went bad or the board itself fed back current to burn it out. The board's VRMs may have caused it too.

There is no warning of impending disaster with high motherboard temps, just smoke or the smell of it.

You CPU is two generations behind and not up to new technologies.

*Update*
I flashed my bios. The temps just dropped by about 40 degrees C.

No blue screen as of yet.

The fix is unknown since a lot of things were affecting my computer negatively.

Ill keep you guys up to date should anything occur.

I also want to thank Britton and Kookat for all your help. Thanks :)

You're welcome and good luck! Did you check out the PSU or determine the source of the smoke smell?
