Help to buy new CPU

Looks like I will have to go price some monitors now

now I am stuck again this is a selection of monitors from where I am dealing from

This 190P6EB/00 does not even show up in the list - must be an antique - LOL.
If you look for a new monitor, do not go by price only. There are huge differences in quality and visual impression. I suggest you go to a computer shop and inspect the monitors yourself. Expensive may not be best for you and cheap may be really bad - or not.
I have two HPw2207 which work very well for me. My neighbor recently bought a 22" ViewSonic which had good reviews, but I find it terrible. I sometimes help her out with system work and I am always stunned by the difference between her monitor and mine.

yep just like me. I live in the country but will go into town (small place) tomorrow we don't have too many comp shops but will go and view because you are right about seeing them. The CPU I have sorted out thank you. The SSD drive will have to wait till prices are down if I have to get a monitor as well.
