Help with blackscreen on chrome when using google maps

i get a black screen on google chrome when i want a search on maps, from one place to another place,

I am having the exact same issue. I will search a place and when I find it I will try to get driving directions. After that the whole screen gos black.
This has only started recently, I first noticed the black screen comes on when trying to load pages but doesn't stay black. And on certain youtube videos the same thing happens as with google maps driving directions. Everything under the address bar gos black, I can still here the sound from the video but everything is black. Not just the video box but everything under the address bar is completly black.
