Solved Help with interpreting memory faults

I've had several BSOD crashes over the past two months, but never two exactly the same. Advice from the forum was to look at a dozen old, possibly suspect drivers since no one driver could be positively identified as the offending culprit. Also recommended was a memory test with memtest86+.

I have 4 x 1Gb sticks of DDR2 memory and am running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. When I ran memtest86+ with all 4Gb of the memory installed, I saw an error reported in the 5th pass, after about 8 hours of clock time running. I then proceeded to run each stick individually for 8 passes (about 3 hours each). No errors. I then ran one stick in each of the other three slots for 8 passes. Again, no errors.

So I have no problem found for four memory sticks and four motherboard slots. I'm tempted to conclude that the problem causing my various BSOD crashes may have been fixed by reseating the memory. (After the last crash, the system would not reboot, and hung with a memory beep code.)

What should my next diagnostic step be? Or am I done?

Right after using memtest i always use prime95 and give it a nice stress to the system.

Thanks for the tip. I tried this and ran prime95 for 10 hours. No errors or warnings. I'd say this is the clean bill of health.
