Help with interrupts while downloading files

Is this noticeably slowing down your computer? It sounds like it could be an issue with your network card or driver.

Will try the TUT tommorow but I don't think it's the network adapter because I already switched to a new one so... still hapening

I'm going to go off a limb here and assume you are using a wireless USB dongle for networking...Well those are no good to begin with. Suffice to say wireless USB dongles are just bad, you'll never get rid of high Interrupts.

Yes I do this a 2005 computer so ... no wireless network card

Listen to logicearth. It sounds like he hit the nail on the head. Stating that you were using wireless (especially an add-on USB dongle) earlier on would have helped us figure this out.

But, My laptop has a network card an I also have the same problem on there even in safe mode ...

tested windows XP (clean install) I installed my drivers tested it again and same thing on XP

Bump, Using utorrent but it's not caused by that because if I download with chrome I also get high dpc usage here some pics maybe you can take a closer look at the problem now:

Yes it is slowing them down and my Pentium 4 computer for sure !!!

Can someone take a look at the pictures please. What is causing those issues ???

I'm at my wit's end on this one. Sorry. I just cannot think of what would be causing such a slowdown for you across multiple machines based on the information you've given. Perhaps there is a commonality across the two systems that is causing the slowdown. Are you running the same Antivirus and/or Firewall on both machines? These can often interfere with network speeds and could cause such slowdowns.

Well I use the same things on both pc's like, IDM (Internet download manager), Avast Internet Security ....

You could try uninstalling each of those at a time and see if the downloading is affected. Just make sure you're downloading a safe file each time (a file from a trusted website or a torrent from a trusted website like Ubuntu or something).

Yes i'll try that tommorow (it's 20:57) (and i have schoolwork to do) I'll replace avast with MSE for testing and I'll remove IDM, and MBAM full.

Could you tell the trusted torrent you use? MSE works for me and many others.

Well it was a Windows XP Pro ISO. From TPB (yes this isn't a trusted source but I never had a virus with TPB) I'm 100% sure it's not TPB causing this because a http:// (non torrent) download like (ubuntu) also causes high cpu usage by the interrupts.

Well... I'll try to live with it ... but one thing is still anoying if I open something that needs UAC rights 'and click Yes or No on it, wil cause a red spike this is annoying if I'm listening to music

I really need some help can a expert help me or anything else suggestions etc. ...

Well ... you can't see the spike when I took the prt scr's but USBPORT.sys, netio.sys, atapi.sys causing high spikes sometimes ... OK I GOT THE ONE THAT CAUSES THE LATENCY WITH THE UAC !!! it's dxgkrnl.sys ( Directx) (so video related ??)

BUMP help please in fixing that red spike caused by dxgkrnl.sys I already reinstalled my video driver didn't helped what can I do next ??? The spike is only happening while a program needs UAC rights when opening it. when I disable UAC it works without red spikes
