I want to make a bunch of folder.jpg files so they are no longer hidden. But when I check the file properties, the hidden attribute checkbox is greyed out, so I can't untick it.

Any ideas on how I can change the hidden attribute of these files?

Thanks

Dave

Let it do for not important system folder / file !!! However make precautions and make restore point, backup, or snap (with Rollback Rx or similar Software ) I do a following for not important, but hidden folders, and hide box was grayed out !!! That was "C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT" , So unhide hidden folders, and make copy, You will get MCT (copy), move original MCT folder to desktop or any safe location, uncheck "read only", and hide again hidden folders, Now is forever unhidden !!!! But be aware that is that operation can be very dangerous, and think twice what folder you want to unhide !! - And one more warning, Please do NOT change anything in resources files ass .dll (imageres.dll, shell32.dll , changing /replacing only one icon (with some resource tool, like Reshack (Resource Hacker) in these files can screw whole Windows OS ad can cause to must reinstall whole OS !!! Believe me I try it !!! DON'T YOU !!! Thank you for your attention, Respectfully yours, Zenicablues
