High memory and cpu usage

Hello,
Looking at the task manager I see that about 50 % of RAM memory is used and about 20 % of cpu.
The computer does nothing. Not a sigle app opened. Only the background tasks. I disabled almost anything from start-up. I even closed some services.

This I believe happened after installing a trial of Adobe Dreamweaver. Could it be the problem or is it a coincidence. It may conflict with other application?

Any help/suggestion would be very much appreciated.

Edit: I have 2 GB RAM. 2.6 GHz dual core cpu and windows 7 installed.

Try a clean boot and find out the precise cause

or you could disable just the program that you suspect and test

Dreamweaver by it's self needs a minimum of 1 gig of ram just to work properly. You state you have 2 gigs of ram installed. With the 1 gig of ram you have left will just barely run Windows 7.
