Hi all,

Didn't know where to put this, but if its in the wrong place, feel free to move it.

Ok, my problem started earlier today, when i loaded up my game online and it started freezing and Google chrome started having minor crashes.

I then opened task manager to find out what was wrong, and saw Java and also the DVD i was watching at the time through windows media player had jumped to over 200 in the memory box.

I am currently running Malwarebytes and superadblocker checking for Malware and Viruses, So far nothing has come up.

I will post a couple of screen-shots to help you in finding my problem.

Got the DVD running now and its skipping, disc is in fully working order, never happened before. Also tried running the game and posted some screen-shots.

EDIT: Added Malwarebytes log for those of you who know how to read it. Also added a screenie of svchost.exe, that seems oddly high if I'm not mistaken, and im also worried about the amount of them.

...Just stop. Memory is not your problem. Oooo its 200 MB of usage big deal.

What you completely missed, Super Ad Blocker Application. In all of your screen shots, its using CPU and taking up the most of your RAM. Dun dun dun. I wonder what happens with it constantly taking slices of CPU when you run other CPU bound task, hmmm.

Sorry to burst your bubble Logicearth, its not super ad blocker, i had that running at the time to check for viruses and Malware. I can post another screenshot if you like.

As you can see, no super ad blocker. And i know for a fact java doesnt take up 4gb of RAM and lag like hell with one window open.

Running an online game most likely is eating CPU cycles with Java, it's not real light weight. It may well use all the RAM you can throw at it.

The svchost.exe you see are normal and host (run) many system services and programs. If I counted right you had 12, here's mine with 14.

Capture.PNG
To see what they do, type resmon in the Start search box and tap enter. Go to overview tab, scroll to the various svchost.exe entries and check the box in front. Below expand the Dick, Memory, and Network pane to see what is running.
