Hello, this BSOD has been driving me nuts! I can't find how to fix it!

The situation is that I am doing several things that, normally, pose no issue.

Streaming to twitch.tv using OBS.exe from e:, playing a game or running adobe CC suite from d:, running music from f:

After a seemingly random amount of time, between 10-30 mins, the machine will BSOD and report this.
I have been using driver verifier, as the screen recommended, and thought it might be a game controller, then my CD drive (both of which are unplugged), however - this screen still occours.

Looking at the reports your nifty SF_diagnostic programme delivers, I'm very confused - perhaps my machine is being hijacked!

All this UMA-uniformity-trial-50-percent/group_01 ?! What is this?! That is scary!!!
Am I being tested for something..? Are they watching me?! D:

The name changes, and the services are stopped, then there is loads of other stuff D:

I wonder what all the windows licenses being installed are..? It is very confusing for me.

Is anyone willing to help me try to figure this out, please?

Hello again.

I think I may have found the issue.

There was a USB 3.0 microphone driver along with PCIe wifi and networking drivers that were out-dated. They didn't seem to throw any errors until a recent windows update.

I'll mark this as solved, when it's managed a full day without crashing!

I think this is not fixed.

However - it did not occour during the night.
I wonder whether the kernel power errors could be something to do with the power supply to my house?

At night, it changes to low-rate electricity, in the day it is on the normal grid...

I am really at a loss - It is impossible for me to make progress with my work, as the computer crashes every 20 mins. Please will someone give me a hint?!

I'm going to try reinstalling the gigabyte PCIe networking drivers again, and see if this helps.

Repairing them seemed to have an effect. Windows update did 1 update last night, perhaps this is also a culprit in messing things up..?

It says that at the moment of the crash, it should be able to report which driver is the one that splooged out of its box.
I cannot find where to read this... verifier /query seems to list several. god-damn computers... I WANNA WORK DAMIT.

Currently, I am running chkdsk on all volumes.

C: took a very long time for a 256gb SSD, so perhaps there were errors reading. I didn't see, the machine reset so it could remount the drive, I guess.
D: passed no problems, this is a 128gb SSD.
E: no problems reported
F: no problems reported
G: seems to be 3rd in line. It is a 1TB disc. The USN $J data stream was repaired. This volume had free space that was designated as allocated in the bitmap.

I have noticed a problem with indexing and windows search lately.

Perhaps some driver issue that has been fixed caused memory problems, which corrupted the disc and lingers still.

Hardware has been completely changed since the last BSOD spree, where it was throwing bad pool headers. The only things that are the same are a few hard drives and the case and PSU. Oh - and 8gb of old RAM, but that passed tests with no probs.

hopefully chkdsk will be done by tomorrow.

The chkdsk reported a few errors and fixed them!

Then the BSOD happened again :`(

Realised that I had left the verifier running. Turned it off, BSOD returns.

Reading some other threads here, I saw about nvidia streaming service possibly causing problems - this was updated lately.

I deinstalled the nvidia experience, 3d, audio and left only the drivers.

So far - it has been no problem. But, this is the same as last night, where the machine acts perfectly fine, but tomorrow it will break again.
My computer must be a night person...

Hopefully it's the new nvidia drivers for the redundant experience stuff causing the problems, and not some kind of invasive google spyware.
Time will tell, I guess.

The machine feels more responsive again, now the chkdsk has done its work.

Hello again - I believe i have solved this issue, so thanks very much for all the assistance!!!

If it wasn't for the other people with problems, especially with chrome and streaming - I would never have figured out what was causing this issue.

I didn't find the official team feedback very useful, sorry. I kind of wonder why they did ignore my comments on other threads, but it doesn't matter because I guess the other users were not as capable of troubleshooting and fixing their computers themselves - so they needed the help more than me!

The most useful things were all the guides and FAQ's that have been written by the team here, and also the MS KB! Thanks for all your efforts in this!!!

Either way - thanks seven forum community for helping with my computer problems!!!

I will mark the thread as solved.

Problem was Network drivers for Gigabyte PCIe needing repair, HDD indexing issue and new Nvidia drivers messing up.
Mostly the 3D experience and Audio driver and stuff.

I now feel I am quite knowledgeable about troubleshooting driver issues using verifier and event viewer, so thanks for the experience, me.

Also - just cos the BSOD was mostly Nvidia drivers - I still suspect google and those guys of trying to hijack my computer for ad-ware...
