Hi, folks!

i got a big problem with my cherry keyboard
Cherry - eVolution SIRIUS XT Wireless MultiMedia Desktop

all hotkeys worked properly until my system crashed due to some OC. now all other keys work but hotkeys (play, mute, forward, backward, volume up, volume down, calculator, e-mail, home and sleep) which are all hotkeys my keyboard has. they were all global setted so i was able to skip tracks while musicplayer was in tray on default settings.

i tried to reinstall windows plug&play-drivers but it doesn't help. please help, if you can:geek:

thank you

there is no driver provided by cherry. there is only a key manager, which is working fine. nevertheless it needs the proper windos driver für hotkeys mapping. also cherry support said it must be a windows issue, so i have to repair broken windows drivers i guess.

have you any idea how to restore drivers which were used by windows (by auto-installing my device) as i fist plugged in my device?

Did your keyboard come with a C/D? The specialty keys on your 3rd party keyboard are not a Windows 7 function. Type in keyboard in the Start search and see if your keyboard control panel or something like that is displayed. Go there and see if you can find what you are looking for. When you plug in a keyboard or a mouse Windows will install just enough so the basic functions will work. If you want to the little special keys to work it should be in a program that came with the keyboard or mouse or from the manufactures web site. I have found that Windows O/S like Window keyboards and mice. Go figure.

Did you go to Start and type keyboard in the Search? If so did you find anything relating to keyboard?
