Hotmails to more than one contact not received

Anyone know why emailing 2 contacts separately works but putting both of the same contacts in the To: field together doesn't. The emails disappear into the ether.

Any clues much appreciated.

how are you marking the separation between the two contacts (i.e.: with a comma, with a colon, etc.)?

I simply select/tick both addressees from my contact list so there's no other manual input from me.

Are you using Windows Live Mail (application), Windows Live Mail (website), or some other website?

I don't use Live Mail. I sign into the Hotmail website and do everything from there.
