How can I capture streaming video to my 7 PC

I have a 7 pro 64 bit PC. I have just gotten a subscription to a training videos site, not realizing it is for a limited amount of time. Since this is now a problem, I need to find a way to capture the video stream and rip to a file format on my PC that is editable in Windows Movie Maker 2.1 (.wmv, mpeg-2, .avi, etc). Yes, I know, it is old but I am used to it and it's good enough for me.

I've google searched for programs to capture the video stream, but don't want to waste a week trying 20 of them only to find that 19 are a complete waste of time.

Any suggestions for a useful program? I found one called Replay Video Capture that seems like it might be good, but haven't downloaded it yet. I have used Infra Recorder to burn DVDs of Linux .iso images, but I don't think it can capture video and audio.

i am suggest you if you can use electa screen recorder offer to record from screen many option here search on it google and use it. both paid and free version of software are available you can use for free also.

I tried that Electa program. It is crap. It can't record audio without a microphone. I am uninstalling it now. I need something that can record the sound and video streaming into the computer. And Electa's user console was not the most helpful one I have ever seen.

Not sure it will work on the site you need but try this online converter which works on many sites from YouTube to others just be mindful before pressing the download button to untick their offer to use their own downloader even though last time I used it (Today) it was no longer offered
