Solved How can i fix a slow laggy web cam HP auto focus

Hi everyone I am wondering how i can fix this laggy issue with my web cam

It works already and all but i mean it is really slow and choppy compared to lower one's i seen

I basicly want the thing up to speed so i can view my wife and daughter when im away on business trips or when im visiting my mom and dad so they can see them from thiere house

I was told it has something to do with my cache or something but is there a way to eloborate this information or tell me how to go about solving this issue also when i game which is all the time the web cam light is bright blue till i turn the game off why does this happen

anyway this is the first time i really tryed to deal with this because lack of interest
anyway im trying to get this fixed before the holiday comes up for im going to be working and my wife and daughter is taking my mother in law to thiere realitives so given the oppertunity i want to get this fixed for thanksgiving so my familly can atleast say hi before the holiday starts

Using faster machine (=more physical RAM), a good graphics card and highspeed internet (not less than 3.1 Mbps) connection.


Its not only your problem, if you are using Youcam software that HP provides, it results such crappy videos among many users.

Alternative is using other softwares than Youcam.

LoL well it is obvious my system can bang it out so pretty much it is the youcam software

I would have never guessed so what would you reccomend? as a alternitive

Im willing to buy software if freeware is not available just point me to something good stable and bs free thank you very much and i will rep you for a response if any

Youcam is considered as bloatware


My bet is webcamXP :: The Powerful Webcams And Network Cameras Software For Windows (webcamXP pro) it has paid and free versions and used by security centers

You will never need so much features!
