How can I update my drivers automatically?

Is the Device Manager UPDATE DRIVER button supposed to work? I have this program preinstalled called samsung update manager before and it detected that My NVidia had a new driver update ready to be downloaded and also the INTEL RAPID STORAGE thing had a new driver to update but the sad thing about that SAMSUNG UPDATE program was that It didn't download anything when I pressed update, so I uninstalled it. Now I've noticed that my graphics display is having some error but it recovers right away (thankfully). This happens about 3-4 times in a week. I'm just wondering if this is due to the fact that I haven't updated my graphics driver. I tried updating it through the DEVICE MANAGER but it just keeps saying that DRIVER IS UP TO DATE even though its still the same driver version from the start. How can I update my drivers? Also I saw my friend using TOSHIBA that it gives notifications and updates it BIOS drivers and other programs. I haven't done any updates with my BIOS and all. Is my laptop getting left behind? Please help.

there are many software on the net which updates drivers by searching your computer or laptop search on google.

I can't imagine wanting to let a simple task be handled by software that could easily make a mistake or corrupt my system. Some OEM systems include a utility to monitor their website for drivers, but even then, it can cause issues, or unwanted changes.

Updating drivers is simple. You just get the newer files....remove the old version, and install the new version. The Update button you see is for a manual install...where you point Windows to a location to find a specific, newer driver for a specific piece of hardware. It really doesn't need to be used unless you run into an issue with the installer. For Nvidia, as an example, if a newer driver exists, download it, remove the old version, and then install the new version.

how about for the INTEL TURBO BOOST TECHNOLOGY driver? I went to the Intel site lastnight but didnt find any. I used their driver utility but It wasn't much help. Also I got this chipset driver listed in the OUTDATED section when i scanned with Driver Detective. please help.

I already went to that INTEL link you posted Karl. I downloaded the latest INTEL CHIPSET SOFTWARE INSTALLATION UTILITY that was detected compatible for my unit, also I searched for a more updated driver for the TURBO BOOST TECHNOLOGY (I withdraw my comment about not finding a driver for TURBO BOOST from my earlier post, I just recalled that I did but something went wrong.) and I manually installed both, after reboot I refreshed my WIE score and my hardisk transfer rate plummeted down to 2.9 from a 5.9. Please help.

Use System Restore to restore to an earlier point.

IMO, there is no need of a software utility for drivers.. Just go to the nVidiA website and you will easily find the updated drivers.
With softwares that do so, until they are a Pro/Full/Premium version they will give you hateful speeds, as they reduce your bandwidth.

Moreover for nVidiA drivers there is this widget that may save you some work.

I restored back my system through an image backup. Restore point issue still at large. I've no problem with my NVidia drivers. my concern is my intel drivers. I used DRIVER SWEEPER to clean my NVidia drivers before manually installing the latest driver downloaded from their site. I again correct myself, what I downloaded last night was not TURBO BOOST DRIVER, it was a RAPID STORAGE DRIVER i think it's what caused my WIE to sink since the chipset utility software installer didnt do anything crazy. I attached a screen shot of this RAID RAPID STORAGE DRIVER.
