How can I update Win7 PC not updated since 2015

I have an old Win 7 PC I recently revived, but it hasn't been updated since 2015. Is there an easy way to do this, or do I suck it up and do the updates one by one?

Hello Norm mate just how are the updates coming through now?? and what have you set it to do with updates like many others I set mine to "let me choose whether to download and install updates" which now the shenanigans with the 10 upgrade is over and done with shouldn't pose too much of a hassle to you.

I usually use a program called WSUS Offline Update to update Windows 7 ( or any other Windows OS ) after a brand new install.

I do not have the best download speeds in the world so spending more than a day to download over 200 updates since SP1 is out of the question for me now.

I store the program on a USB drive so that I can take it to a friends house if they need it. The size of the download is over 6 GB.

   Note

It will only download KB's that are in MS Security Bulletins, which are all the critical and important downloads; so you will still have to do a Windows Update afterwards to fetch the ordinary non-critical updates. This tool eliminates a critical gap in Windows installation

Using the program is easy

To download updates run UpdateGenerator.exe
To update the computer run UpdateInstaller.exe (in the \client\ folder)
