How come the people here on the forums are so respectful than other forums? Forums like IW Call of Duty MW2, or forums of any type.
When i go to the other forums, people flame me and get disrespectful and when i stand up for myself on other forums, i get banned for flamming (which isnt fair). Why is that? Oh and im 19 by the way just in case if you are curious.
And most people on other forums starts flamming me because i cant type (100% grammer/spelling). Not that i cant type in perfect grammer, but because im just too lazy but people still understand me. Why is that?

There are some fine, classy folks here who genuinely want to help others. The Admins have set the tone for a respectful, pleasant place to be. Bottom line: great folks here.

Well I have been around other forums and usually there are a vast amount of users who are immature or are fairly young, so when you get replies they are usually snotty and ignorant comments,

Around these forums people are happy to help you out with your problems or questions.

The mods and admins keep in clean around here. There have been many helpful users in the past who stepped out of line a few times too many and they are simply banned and they are not allowed back. Most of the longer term people here know this, so we are sure to show respect to others.

Brian, this is a bad habit of mostely young people. Part of being respectful is to try to use correct language. I am nearly 4 times your age and English is not my mother language. But I try my best to use proper language. And when I am in doubt, I use the spell checker or the Oxford dictionary. Maybe you can make that a habit too. I am sure everybody will appreciate that.
And btw. - many people, including myself, do not even bother to deal with postings that are difficult to decipher.

Brian, whs is right on target. Taking the time to use proper grammar and checking your spelling is part of showing respect for the readers of your posts.

I find in multiple forums that many of the posters with the most correct English use (spelling, punctuation, grammar) are those for whom it is not their native language, like whs. I can't even claim that mine is always perfect, as an American English speaker that knows no other language, but I at least make the attempt.

The spell checker is my personal savior not for spelling, so much, because I am an excellent speller, but it catches my typos, of which there are many.
