Solved How do I change a cloned SATA drive to use as a backup drive

I messed up by making a cloned SATA drive instead of just doing an image back up. Now, because it's recognized as a real system drive, I can't get to it to make it a backup drive with an image vice a clone.

What application did you use to make this "Clone"?

Now, because it's recognized as a real system drive, I can't get to it to make it a backup drive with an image vice a clone.

Can you boot into your OS? If yes, can you see both the old HDD and the Cloned HDD? If you can positivly ID the cloned drive just format it and start again!

Politically Correct

Being PC is probably due to a lot of ignorance - ahem, lack of knowledge. I was a bombardier/navigator in A-6s; hence, Beaner. I was also an Electronic Countermeasures Officer in EA-6Bs; hence ECMO.

I was able to accidentally solve the issue just now. I rebooted the computer witrhout the clone attached; mounted the hard drive and 'saw' the drive as a normal drive; reformatted it, and all is well with the world.
