Hi, I've a pc desktop with Win 7 and LCD monitor connected on internal lvsd not on vga-dvi,
and i need to control the screen brightness with shortcuts or how to restore full brghtness on reboot.

The facts are that on Control panel -> Power -> Screen Brighness I can play with slider to set it, but when i dim all low my screen became black, the backlights are off!
So if i lose the slider focus i can't restore the brightness (the solution should be to attach a second monitor on vga, but i haven't this new monitor)

I ask if there is the possibility to control brightness via shortcuts or to restore the brightness on reboot

thank's in advance

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums .. Have you tried this Program ...

Desktop Lighter allows you to increase/decrease the contrast of the screen. The program can be operated by dragging the corresponding slider with the mouse or by using the keyboard hotkeys (Ctrl+ arrows). The utility can be set to be launched automatically at Windows startup.

Can not Recommend it as i have never used the Program ...
