How do I fix "long running script"?

While I appreciate all the attempts to help I hope you understand that not all of us are PC wizards or experts. Sometimes we hope for reasonable answers to our questions. I really don't care to get involved in this latest request. Much too complicated....sorry.

Steps needed to troubleshoot are not necessarily easy, but not unreasonable. The Easy Button is usually unavailable where windows problems are concerned. Our members here are patient and more then willing to work you through any steps.

You can also try booting to Safe Mode with Networking and see if the unresponsive behavior occurs there.

Okay, I have run chkdsk, malware bytes, sfc scannow, spybot, and did a clean startup. When I did the clean startup I had the same slow startup I had right off the bat so I assume I can rule out any program conflicts. So....back to square one.

Oh, and did defrag....

Is it possible that a new monitor would cause this slow startup? I purchased a new 27 Samsung right about the time these problems began. Doesn't seem like it would but throwing it out there anyway.

The same issue occurs in Safe Mode? I have seen people complain about lag in games after adding a new monitor, or a 2nd monitor. But if it was a case like yours, I'd think only a new driver would be a possibility. Did you install the driver from the disc? They are often an older one. You could always uninstall the display adapter driver, reboot, and let windows find it's own. See if there is a change. If not, you can either check the manufacturers website for the latest, or Nvidia/AMD sites. Fill in your system specs, can only help. You can do it automatically if you use IE.

PART A:
You can test the volts on the PSU with HW Info https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php < download the right bit version and close the right hand window select Sensors and scroll down to the power section where you will see what the volts are doing see my pic. In my pic the section (Nuvoton) with VBATT as a dead give away you are in the section for the rail voltages. There are other section titles and one that pops up often is ITE (sometimes the usual one for Gigabyte boards)
Now the voltage on the different rails have to be within 5% =+/- of what is required or the machine will not work properly if at all.
Limits +/- (minimum - correct - maximum)
12v1 = 11.4 - 12 - 12.6v
12v2 = 11.4 - 12- 12.6v
5v = 4.75 – 5 - 5.25v
3.3v = 3.135 – 3 – 3.465v
-12v = -10.80 - -12 - -13.20v
+5VSB = 4.75 – 5 - 5.25v
The Power good signal voltage at pin 8 on the 24 pin plug (grey cable) should be the same as the 5v rail reading/s

The original right hand window shows the machine running and is handy for that but for looking at the components in some detail close it and use the main left hand side panel

Open each small square with + in it on the section the components are in and then click on the individual component/s (it will highlight in blue) - in the right hand side will appear all sorts of details including brands speeds and other essential info that particular device. See pic for example.
