Hi.
I've bought a ThermalTake Muse 5G, and on the next day, I overstressed the connector and it broke.
I've re-soldered it back (a lot of work and hassle, hope I don't go through this again) -- making sure the fixture is reinforced -- and now, although the device is detected, I don't know if it's making use of those extra connectors.
Right now, I'm moving 143.886 items (156GB) from the external hard drive (the Muse 5G with a Toshiba mk5059GSXP, 500GB, 5400RPM, SATA II, 8MB Cache; USB 3.0 Connected). The estimated time left is around 5 hours and the speed is ranging from 26MB/s to 36MB/s.
At the moment I'm writing this, it started to transfer one big single file, and the speed went up to 42MB/s
I used to get around 25MB/s on USB 2.0, and this speed could be enough to ensure that the device is working on USB 3.0 mode, but I'm still not sure. Is there something that I could run or see to make sure of that?
USB 3.0 Drivers are properly installed and I'm running on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate.

Time left decreased to 1 hour left, and it is stable at 43MB/s
