How do I ONLY allow read-only 4 EVERY User (Me, system etc) ?

Okay I am having troubles with security permissions. I was told to set the files as read-only so my wmc can't delete them. However, my xbox still can So what I need to do is set it up so my videos folder is read-only for EVERY user including myself. I want to deny deletion rights for everyone except me however I want it so the only way I can delete is to move the file from the folder to another folder with the permissions that allow me to delete files. How can I do this???

The "xbox" really has the same permissions of the user it uses to login into the computer, if you use your user/password, so if you have permission to delete, the xbox too.

Windows don't have such a distinction as to "move" vs "delete". Permissions apply to remove a file from a folder, but it doesn't really matters if it's deleted or moved elsewhere. As far as I know, it's not possible.
An alternative may be the simply recycle bin instead. When "deleting" a file, it really gets moved there, and from there can be really deleted.

Unfortunately, Xbox does have different privelages than my account because I disabled everything on my account and WMC on the PC couldn't delete itmes but WMC on my xbox could. Also I should probably mention that when I delete files from my WMC xbox they don't go to the recycle bin. They seem to magically disappear off my computer but there file space that is used remains... So any other ideas? Any reg keys Idk about?

Yea I'm keeping my videos in the public videos folder; however, I changed all the public and public videos folder permissions... Noone except my account can change the permissions or delete the files. But like I said WMC on xbox seems to have permissions of its own whether or not there are permissions on my computer. I tested setting it up so EVERY single user listed in the permissions was denied deletion writes WMC xbox still could delete files when WMC PC couldn't.
