How do I reinstall windows 7 without a CD?

I looked everywhere but still don't know how to do it. The only things I found out is something about an image or partition but don't know what that means.

I downloaded windows 7 (i think) but don't know what to do after this.

Where did you download Windows 7 from? If you got the same version that you currently have installed then you can create a DVD or flash drive to install with.

What is the make and full model number of your computer? It may have a built-in recovery partition that can be used to restore the computer to it's factory new state.

I recommend using ImgBurn at 4X speed (or the slowest available) to create the DVD from the downloaded .iso file. Just be careful during the install not to accidentally install some of the bundled junk that comes with it. Always take The Custom Install option.

You can do this on any Windows computer capable of burning a DVD.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID KEY TO INSTALL THIS .ISO.
The one on the COA sticker on your computer will work.
If you are just using the Recovery Console you do not need a key.

You can also create a bootable USB Flash drive (4GB or larger) to install Windows 7 from.

• Download and run Universal USB Installer Easy as 1 2 3
• Select Windows 7 from the first drop down list, all the way to the bottom
• Select the downloaded Windows 7 iso file
• Select your USB flash drive
• Click Create

You already have a valid -and legal-serial number to install W7 as Ztruker has stated.
Just get a Windows 7 installation DVD from a friend and install it using the Product Key provided by your system manufacturer.

See below the -most common-Recovery process for an ASUS notebook:

1. Press < F9 > during bootup.
2. Press [Enter] to select Windows Setup.
3. Select the language you want to recover and click Next.

From then on select what you wish to do.
