The easy way to fix your computer is just have your son unlock the computer. A password must of been installed to lock others out.

Someone who has put a password block on bios knows what they are doing. Someone who password blocks access to the operating system know what they are doing.

As far as I know this is the rule that applies.

Windows 7 Help Forums - Forum Rules

Rule #6

6) No discussions of hacking someones system, network, password, etc.

Contact the manufacturer and be prepared to prove ownership. Hard drive passwords are a security measure and are designed to be difficult to remove. It it were otherwise they would serve no purpose.

I`m sure your 7 year old did not change the password for windows or the bios, I`m sure it`s something different and much simpler. Did you have your own password to get on the pc ? As mentioned we are not allowed to help you hack into the pc, but maybe if you describe exactly what`s happening when you 1st turn on the pc, maybe we can help. What exactly does this lock out screen ( or whatever ) look like ?
