Hey there :)

So i got a HP Pavilion dv7 Laptop and everytime I start my laptop it opens this HP adviser thing where i have to click a button to continue starting my laptop up.

Isnt there a way to take this off cause its just annoying imo

I have already been into Config and unmarked the HP Advisor but it only removes the HP adviser panel when i come to the desktop

Can anyone help me out here or is it just part of the HP Pavilion laptop?

(I got Windows 7 32 bit)

Is the advisor listed in the control panel, programs and features? If so just delete

Do this:
Go to Control panel/administrative tools/system configuration/startup and untick both HP Advisor and HP Mediasmart

Apply and restart

Or ...from Advisor, open the dashboard and unselect the option of Starting with Windows

New HP's come loaded with bloatware, causing many tech enthusiasts to find a clean-copy Win7 installer for their version to reinstall without the bloatware. Any installer can have all versions unlocked to install your version with the Product Key on the COA sticker. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/85813-windows-7-universal-installation-disc-create.html

Until then, you can tame the bloatware by unchecking everything in msconfig>Startup except AV and gadgets.
Then configure your network connection in the bottom-right System Tray using Win7's built-in superior connection manager, since HP's adds 30 second to boot time and hogs CPU. http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/70248-troubleshooting-msconfig.html

Use Revo Uninstaller in Advanced mode to over time uninstall the bloatware you don't want. Monitor system files since bloatware can corrupt them even by its uninstall: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

When your ready to clean reinstall, ask back here for steps and more tips. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html

Make your HP Recovery Disks as an extra backup, which can also be used to extract any favorite apps (like Works) for a clean reinstall: http://www.sevenforums.com/installa...are-after-clean-win-7-install.html#post488270

Thanks for your advices guys :)
