How do I set the Default destination for Pictures Videos to F Drive ?

Hello All,

I need to find out how to set a NEW Default destination for Pictures, Videos and perhaps other items to automatically be put into my Computer`s F Drive - at present everything goes into the C Drive Libraries list of Folders - `Pictures`, `Videos` etc.

I have not been able to find out how to do this and previous comments from Members on the Forum about similar questions seem to be suggesting that it is NOT a simple process ?


Could any Members help me with the specific answers to these questions please:


It seems obvious to me that there must be a simple method of putting Files / Data onto the Computer`s F Drive / a way to create Default settings otherwise what is the point in having an F Drive / second Drive ?


What is the reason for there being 2 Drives on a Computer - on my Computer designated as the C Drive and the F Drive - if it is not a simple task for the User to select / set either as the Default destination for Data items / Documents, Pictures etc. ?


When even Children are taught how to use a Computer would being able to set Default destinations on EITHER Computer Drive for various Files / Pictures, Documents, Videos, PDF`s etc. not be one of the most basic things to learn ?


I have almost Zero knowledge or experience in `Computing` because I have had no Computer / Computing training I just bought one about 11 Years ago having realised by watching friends on their Computers that I would be able to work out how to use it for all that I wanted to do which was Internet browsing, online Shopping, Emails and storing Photos, PDF`s, downloading Documents etc.

I have explained that because I would need any instructions to be `Step by Step` please so that I can ensure that I do not make any mistakes and cause existing Pictures, Photos, Videos, PDF`s etc. to disappear or future items to be `Lost`.


N.B: I posted what might seem to be a similar thread on the Forum but because these above questions have arisen during responses in threads about a much more complicated matter I wanted to ask these direct questions without the complications included in / related to answers about the previous more complicated issues.

Also as that similar thread has had over 900 views I feel that the more complicated / very long messages / replies that I have had to write have obscured / hidden the questions above and has possibly stopped me receiving replies specifically about those questions.
