I currently use Rainlender as a desktop calander and sync it to Google because if I have to re install my OS I wont lose the google calander dates.

I am thinking though that maybe Outlook calander may be a bit easier to use, but I am wary of using it incase I have to do a fresh install of my OS and as such lose my dates.

I know how to back up the individual folders in Outlook but I dont know how to back up the calander, so can someone please tell me.

Regards

AF

You can always use SyncToy to back up your .pst file but....

If this is a business system, Outlook's data should be backed up already on the server. If it is a personal system, switch to Windows Live Mail and create a free .live account...even if you don't plan to use the .live e-mail. It just lets you sync your data online. I have it across three computers, so a reinstall brings down all of my e-mails, contacts, and calendar....free.
