Just done a snip of my forecast, we certainly don't need AC's here.

Nothing spectacular here. Had great weather beginning of June. Was a bit of a surprise. The weekend I went camping with a couple of friends, it was pretty grim in the morning when we set of, but when we reached the campsite in the lake district there wasn't a cloud in the sky, and it was about 25-30c in the day for the whole time we were there.

This morning at 6:15 AM it was 84 Degrees, gonna be the 3 H's again today (Hot, Humid & Hellish)

it got a bit hotter today here, it's up to a whopping 68F (20C) after a few days of low 60's. sun's out, beating down unmercifully, had to take off my fleece body warmer! if it gets any warmer, i'll need to put on my shorts. (the hyumididity is a stifling 37%)

ah, well. better than the good old days in the rhub al-khali...(47C/115F avg., highest was 60C/140F).

y'all are way cool by comparison.

'Bout time you Yanks take a little of the load off the South. We've been having triple digit temps since about March. We've had two inches of rain since last September. Inch and half about three weeks ago and half an inch last Tuesday. The early garden we normally plant in late February burned up by late March. Three of the last four years have been Extreme Drought conditions.

Sorry carwiz. I know South Texas can get very very hot and muggy.

So far, it's been a typical summer in my home city of Peterborough - cool, cloudy with some rain and occasional sun, although it looks like we're in for a pleasant week to come.

Back yard is crisp. Something like walking on potato chips. Have taken to using the garden hose and lightly sprinkling it down at dusk to help save it & the apple trees. I'm normally happy with sunshine on my solar panels but in this heat they loose efficiency. I've had to use extra ventalation in the mud room where the freezer is, a 15 yr old unit running hot, I mean hot. Reserved some funds just in case it craps a puppy.

There was a cat yowling outside so I got a cup of water to throw on him to shoo him away. Unfortunately, it killed him, the water boiled away before hitting him and scalded him with steam.
