The board will fit into the case but it will be difficult to impossible to route cables to the board; forget any reasonable cable management.

I used to use it, it worked, but cable holes were covered up by a half. I'm now using the Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition, it supports EATX motherboards

Single screen you might get away with 1 (depends on the game really), but I would roll with 2 to be safe. Don't forget the new 800 series are due out in the next month or 2. From what I gather the GTX 880 will offer 780TI performance for less money.

From what I've read, you have to establish your skills as a builder by actually build one or more rigs and posting a detailed, heavily illustrated, blow by blow thread depicting all the stages of each build on several forums, then contacting various manufacturers and asking if they will sponsor all are part of your next build. You will need to reference all threads of earlier builds and specify pretty much exactly what your next build will be and how each manufacturer's product(s) will be featured in the build. Manufacturer's sponsor builds to get advertising for their products being depicted in actual use so the better the quality of your builds and how much you display them will determine your chances for getting sponsored. Also, a manufacturer is far more likely to sponsor a build that uses the latest and greatest of their products. I recently prepped a Corsair case and put a now (to me) Corsair PSU in it. There is no way Corsair would have sponsored that because (besides the fact I only posted the thread here and I have only one other case build under my belt) the case itself has been discontinued and the PSU is an older model. Corsair would gain no advertising value from such a build.

Well the problem is most individuals that do get sponsered have popular YouTube channels since companies want their products to be seen to many people. It would be hard with all the comptition since comapnies usually prefer popular people.

Define worth ? If money fairly spills from ones pockets without a second thought then do it. For all others then it boils done to bragging rights and eating Top Ramen for the next six months or saving up for just the right time to upgrade. If time is money and you use the rig for that same professional need then possibly you would see a large enough productivity increase?

Ehh.... Gaming and heavy video editing (I'm doing fine now, I'm planning on getting dual 780s and moar ram...

Also a cheaper option if you do a lot of video editing would be to switch to the CPU I have which is the 6 core model above your current CPU. That would give you a bit more power for that task. It would not make any difference in gaming though.
