How many songs are in your music list on Windows Media Player?

I have a bunch of CD's and if by chance that won't do I just go online to a radio station or Youtube. Having to download and then put into something my system will handle and loading a hard drive full of music that I have to organize and sort just isn't me.

If I want to listen to music I just go to YouTube, you all need to embrace the cloud because the days of local media are numbered.

2nd that just easier to do the Youtube thing and don't have to worry about looking for something you like amongst all the files

YouTube is about the absolute last place I would ever turn to in order to listen to music. If I want to "embrace the cloud" as z3r010 stated, I would go to Pandora or another internet radio site before YouTube.

In my car, I use a 16GB thumb drive full of mp3s to listen to since there aren't any good radio stations to listen to anymore (at least where live). On long trips, I often use my phone (played thru the car's sound system) to listen to "cloud music" but never YouTube.

Those days have some mighty large numbers. Not every one can afford, or even have access to, reliable, unlimited broadband internet and it is going to be a long time before that happens.

I no longer use Windows Media Player. I opted to use native Win7 Libraries for all Docs, Pix, Mux, and Vid and replaced WMP with VideoLAN vlc

If your question is "How many songs are in your music folders?" then the answer is 3428.

A big 0 for WMP (which I don't use anymore since version 6), and another big 0 for Media Player Classic (my current one)
Really, the only music in my system is the one that powers Guitar Hero game , 198 songs in total, and already feel it's too much

If that were true, we all would be throwing away Windows and getting ChromeOS everywere. Full cloud integration, nothing in your HD.

Again, none but I have 7256 in MediaMonkey. However, many of those are just movements in larger pieces (classical).

Rebuilding my library after a catastrophic loss about a month ago ,entirely my fault too. Lost about 3/4 of what I had ....... BUT, in answer to this thread question. WMP = 0. Winamp =

Only keeping "essential" music now during this rebuilding phase, for the few times during the season when I have no net access.

1,333 apparently 86.2 hours though I don't use wmp myself. Mostly just my rap/rock/eletronic music cds backed up on the pc.
