Guys,as title says who have better performance in gaming
1.16GB DDR3 1333mhz OR
2.8GB DDR 1600mhz
Does performance depend on cas latency??
which have more important cas or mhz or Bandwidth of GB????????
What I found on net is a "TOTAL WAR" of this topic.
Thankssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D;););););););):cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

For just gaming, out of those 2, 8GB DDR3 @ 1600MHz would probably be better, but probably a very small amount. CAS latency does have an effect on performance, oftentimes very little effect. There are formulas you can use to figure out which is better on paper, but the differences, especially these days, are very little, sometimes insignificant. For most people who surf the web, watch videos and play games, 8GB is more than enough. CAS latency and frequency is harder to give advice about because of how the system works. For newer platforms, Z77, etc.....it's hard to beat 8GB of 1600MHz @ CL9. It's a good standard, and going much above it will show very little real world gains. I see you are using a 32 bit operating system........a 32 bit OS will not see more than 4GB and can actually use about 3.3GB of RAM, so anymore would be wasteful, unless you plan on upgrading to a 64 bit OS.
