how to access hidden virtual partition

I recently performed KillDisk using Win XP Pro and I attempted to delete the entire 1TB HDD.
When finished, I noticed that KillDisk successfully deleted 931GB.
It did not list the remaining 69GB.

I saw elsewhere:
Start->Run
type: cmd and hit Enter
type: diskpart
type: list disk
type: select disk #
type : list partition
type: select partition #
type: delete partition

I request to know how to access the hidden, virtual 69GB disk space and what programs it contains and make a copy.
If there is a TCP/IP prog, I would like to know its IP address

Uh, you may be running into the issue that a "1TB" harddrive is not actually one terrabyte as reported by your computer. It's about 970GB BEFORE formatting and after formatting it would be about 930GB of OS user usable data as reported byt the OS.

It's hard to say because I don't know that program but if it was reporting the formatted size of the volume then 931GB sounds about right for a single partition occupying the entire "1TB" drive. THus there is no "hidden" partition at all.

My current "1.5TB" drive has a total of 1397GB of partition...

OK

But when I used Win XP Pro & tried the following:

Start->Control Panel->Admin Tools->Computer Mgt-> Disk Mgt

the PC says there is an error attempting to access Disk Mgt.

I tried wiping and reloading OS a few times, but to no avail.

Is there another way say like using Linux/Ubuntu CD to access anything hidden on the 1TB HDD?

Is there any cmd or prog to see if my HDD was virtualized (exclude beta version)?

Is there a cmd or prog (exclude beta version) to see if my PC was connected via wireless virtual network without going online?

XP may not know how to fully access partitions created by W7 or possibly another partitioning program has done something "funny".

If you use the Windows 7 install CD, simply start a new instal, go into the advanced disk paritioning and wipe everything you see and repartition from there. In the end you will only get 931GB from a 1TB drive. W7 itself will install a "hidden" 100MB partition but it is visible i nthe disk management, just there is no drive letter asigned so you don;t see it in Explorer...

With Linux you can use the fdisk command like so "fdisk -l /dev/sda" to list the partitions, but that "/dev/sda" could be /dev/sdb or /dev/hdb or anything else, you have to be sure you KNOW what the hard drive is connected as in order to get the proper info.
