How to change language of Windows 7 home 64 bit SP1

I need to know how to change the language of a Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 without formating. This is because I am interested in buying an ACER Aspire Predator G3610 from Germany which would obviously come with german windows. I would have bought it from UK if it were not for the fact that all UK ACER Predator come with older and lower specs than the german ones.

In fact an ACER Aspire Predator G3610 from Germany will have the new generation i7 2600 sandy bridge cpu, 16GB ram, Nvidia GTX560Ti graphic card, etc while those in the UK are still using the older i7 CPU, have fewer ram and cost much more.

To change the language of Window 7 from German to English, you need to have the Ultimate version of Windows 7. It is not possible to change the language in Home Premium version of Windows 7.

To change the language, you may have to use Anytime upgrade to Ultimate. This upgrade is very easy to apply and will be completed in approx. 10-15 minutes. All you need is the Anytime Upgrade serial number and internet connection. Once you upgrade, you will have the language packs available to you by Windows Update.

You can even manually download the language packs from microsoft Windows 7 website, but still you need Ultimate version.
