How-to completely remove Windows Mobile Device Center?

I installed WMDC on my Windows 7 x64 here the other day, but i don't need it anymore, so i want to remove it. Thought it was enough uninstalling the two entries in "Programs and Features" but there is still two or more services left behind as well as a folder in: "C:\Windows\WindowsMobile", and the WMDC icon in the control panel.

So am wondering if anyone know how to completely uninstall/remove WMDC? My guess is that i have to dive into the registry?

honestly, just leave it. You can cause more issues trying to rip it from the registry than will be caused by leaving it.

Its not the mobility center, this is something i downloaded from Microsoft: Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 | Windows Vista Support

Uninstalled which went fine, but as i said, there is still stuff left behind, ofc they don't do me any harm, but i just dont get why they leave some of the stuff behind after uninstalling it.

Anyway thanks for the answers.

Hmm okay, i'll try out Revo then, you sure it removes the leftover services/folders and control panel icon?

For some reason Windows Mobile Device Center does not show up in Revo, and yea i've installed it again, also did a restart.

Edit: And yes it's listed in the "Program and Feature" uninstall windows in Windows, i can also see it in the uninstaller that ccleaner have, but it's not listed in Revo it seems.

Edit2: Tried Hunter Mode, opened WMDC from the control panel and dragged it on and selected "Uninstall" then a window popping up saying: No installation Package Found! Tip: Get more information from the application from the main windows and try to uninstall it manually".

So what should i do?

So you installed it again to use another program to uninstall it again

Honestly I think you're going through a whole lot of trouble for "maybe" a few kilobytes of stuff that the uninstall feature of Windows "may" have left behind, and will have "no" impact whatsoever on the system.

My two cents.

I don't really care about the space it use. I just don't understand why there is stuff still left behind after uninstalling it, some few files here and there is okay, as most programs do, but here it is two services, a startup entry, control panel icon, and a process running called "wmdcBase.exe" which is probably launched because of the startup entry or the services.

And i don't mind having it here, but if there is a way to completely remove this WMDC i wouldn't mind doing it as am not using it any longer.

Not sure what you mean here....

but here it is two services, a startup entry, control panel icon, and a process running called "wmdcBase.exe" which is probably launched because of the startup entry or the services.

but there shouldn't be any services for that program running once you remove/d it.

Information about wmdcBase.exe can be found here - Agics - System Processes - What is wmdcBase.exe (wmdcBase.exe)

Again, it shouldn't be running if the program is uninstalled.

Those are some of the stuff left behind after i uninstall, and yes wmdcbase.exe is running and the services are too. But i've disabled the startup entry and set the services to manual so they aren't running any longer.

Ummmm, why would you not just use System Restore to go back before you ever installed whatever it was?

Well, i didn't have system restore enabled at the time i installed it, so i can't.

@tw33k, if you have used wmdc before, could you check if you still got a folder in: C:\Windows\WindowsMobile ?

Edit: I deleted the folder, removed the startup entry and deleted the two services with autorun, not really necessary, but now most of it is gone at least, there is probably still a lot of entries in the registry but they haven't been giving me any trouble yet so, hopefully it's okay.
