Sometimes, when I go to sleep the computer, the start button's option changes from "Sleep" to "Shutdown". I have found that the result is one or more updates start downloading and then the machine shuts down.
I would like to make a Restore point before any update is downloaded. My system often makes an auto Restore Point every day, but if, just before the impending W7 update, I have spent some time installing something and setting it up, it would be convenient to delay the W7 update to allow me to make a Restore Point and then install the W7 update, perhaps the next day because the W7 update sometimes arrives just before I go to bed or before I need to rush off somewhere else and want to shutdown the computer without the W7 update being installed. Later, if the W7 update failed I could go back to that recent Restore Point and be back to where I was immediately before the W7 update was installed.
>> How can I delay the W7 update please?
>> Having delayed it, perhaps to the next day, how would I get it back again?
Thanks.
