How to convert a PCI Modem to USB

HI,
i was wondering, is there a way to convert a PCI Modem to a USB Modem, it would be realy helpful.
i can disasemble the card(de soldering ECT., because i have heps of them)

the PCI modems can be had new for @$10 and the USB externals are only about twice as much. I got more of them laying around than a dog has fleas.
