how to create a shortcut for basic theme?

Normally I really like Aero and the eye candy desktop slideshow, but on occasion I run 3D or video editing programs that are huge resource hogs. I've edited the registry so that I have Aero on/off shortcuts in my desktop context menu by using commands for sc start uxsms (on) and sc stop uxsms (off), but at the same time I'd also like to disable/enable the desktop background image and slideshow. Any ideas if this can be done ?

In the Start menu search field, start typing "turn off" Go to back ground images and the first few results should contain "Turn off background images." Click that. .

Right, that's what I want to accomplish but I'm looking for a command line that I can incorporate into the context menu shortcuts: i.e., clicking aero on/off will also toggle the background image and slideshow. The goal is a convenient switch to maximize my graphic card resources for a program like After Effects or Maya.
BTW, the OS is Win7 Ultimate x64.
