How to create a Windows Virtual mchine in Linux

Can you please direct me to a tutorial here (or elsewhere), to help create a Windows 7 Virtual Machine in an existing Linux installation.

What Linux version do you have installed ?
Haven't installed yet. Thinking of Puppy Linux for it's light weight because of my CPU AMD C-50 which is only 1Ghz. Laptop is Acer 5250. RAM 4 GB.
