Before I go on, I would like to note that:
- I'm currently using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
- I have 2 HDD (D and E drive) and 1 SSD (C drive)
- I have posted screenshots as it might clarify what I'm trying to say

Anyway, I'm having trouble with deleting program files (both 86 and 64) and system folders as you can see in the below:

Basically, few days ago I have installed a new SSD for my PC. With that being said, all of my stuff in C drive has been cloned and copied to one of my HDD (E drive).

As a result, I have successfully installed the SSD and copied all of the cloned files back to the C drive (Which is my current SSD). So far, there weren't any problems and every thing was good and dandy.
The end result looks like this:

However, when I tried to delete the cloned files in my E drive it won't let me delete the program files folder and system folder as you can see in the first picture.

So how can I delete these files completely?

Also, when I try to format the HDD the button is greyed out:

Thank you and help would be appreciated it.

Try the free software Unlocker - it should solve the problem.

Thanks for the help.

I have successfully deleted both program files folders and deleting system folder right now.

However, why is it taking so long for system folders? It's been 30 minutes and the bar is not even quarter way up. And unlocker is taking like 50% CPU atm...
