how to delete windows old?

hello after installing windows 7 how do i delete windows old,i cannot run as administrator ?

Right click and delete, or right click, "Take ownership", delete.

Here's how I do it

There is a program called FastCopy. Download that. I never use it for copying and the only thing I use it for is deleting the windows.old folder. It works in the background and does a great job.

Left Click on the c drive. and go to properties. In properties, disc clean up. Include system files". Do it several times, everything will be gone.

Does deleting the folder the usual way leave anything behind?

It must be done seveal times, if you have a lot to remove.


Some may also want to us cclean to be sure everything is gone. I am not one of those, however.

I am using East-Tec Eraser 2010. Take me 45 min for big folder WinOld.
