So I seen numerous people have this problem and searched for answers. I got some but they all do not work. Everytime I boot my computer I come across the chkdsk screen and than it checks.....it does it EVERYTIME! I want to disable it. When I want to skip it also it freezes when it reaches 1 second.

anyways I done the regedit thing and it doesnt work..

I'm running 64-bith windows 7 on an asus m50vm series laptop.

I also done the command prompt where you have to type in like "chkdsk /X C:" that sort of stuff and still doesnt work...Everytime I type that into the command prompt I get this..

Just a shot in the dark! Have you a USB stick or perhaps an SD card in the machine when you boot up? Also can you work out when this first happened? If so have you tried a System Restore to behind that date?

I don't have any USB sticks or SD cards but I do have like various things plugged in like my razer mouse. And speakers. An Apple USB Cable but it isn't connected to anything.

I did this and came up with no violations.

Wasn't there a chkdsk problem on Windows 7 machines partitioned with Acronis?

You said that you tried several settings in the registry. Did you try

autocheck autochk /K:C *

Normally the K switch should turn it off. Make sure there is a blank in front of the slash and the *

Silly question, but are you shutting down the computer properly every time?

I think you will find that it was only one of those causing the problem. My guess is the USB lead. Try reconnecting the speakers, then test then if Ok try the mouse. eliminate each one if possible.
