I keep getting this annoying pop up from Microsoft asking me to sign into their editor every time I open Edge. Is there a toggle in the settings menu to remove this notice? It happens at every load.

I know that this doesn't exactly address your issue but I'd stay far away from Edge. Same thing for Chrome. For my personal computers I wouldn't touch them with a 10' pole. I prefer Firefox ESR but there are other derivatives of Chrome such as chromium, brave, or iron if you have to have a Chrome based browser. You might want to read this thread. Don't know what web browser I should use anymore. Recommendations?

With respect, you're right, this doesn't address my issue. At all. This is the equivalent of me saying I need help fixing my Ford, and the response is "yeah....fix it by buying a Chevy." 0.0 useful and 100% annoying. But thanks anyway, I guess.

The fix I found myself. Apparently an MS extension was slipped in during a Windows Update that I wasn't aware of. So it was a simple matter of removing it in Edge. Leaving this here for others to find later, if need be.

Criticizing someone's advise is a good way not to get any additional advice so I'm out. Like I said I knew that it didn't address your issue but it was my opinion about what I would do. In a way that does fix your issue but take it or leave it. By using a car analogy you are blowing it out of proportion. We're talking a web browser not a huge complicated hunk of machinery and for the record if I was helping you with your car I wouldn't suggest to get another one. Besides since Edge is Chrome based and I recommended different chrome based browsers technically I didn't recommend to go from a Ford to a chevvy but to a different ford, if you have to use a car analogy
