How to enable Aero

My PC reverts to Basic theme alot because of lack of memory, the obvious way to get it back is pick one of the default Aero themes then change the background image and whatever customization i was doing. I literally spent hours trying and looking online for a more direct way of enabling Aero but cant find any.

Make a shortcut with a target of "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\aero.theme".

Make a shortcut with a target of "C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\aero.theme".

That's kind of the same problem, it changes to default theme with Aero on, isnt there a way to do it with background and whatever else the same?
