Hi again,

It seems I am spending more and more time on this forum since I took the plunge and bought a new computer with Win7 a few weeks back. I figure it won't be long before the administrators will 'block' me ...lol

In the past while using WinXP, SP3 I had a program that came with my Sony Camera (DSC-W320/W330) called PMB (Picture Motion Browser ver 5.0) that was a great photo editing program.

It says right on the installation disk that it is not to be used with Win7 64-bit. I am trying to find out if there is any way I can get it to work on Win 7 64-bit? If so, how would I go about doing it?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks and regards,

2harts4ever

Hello 2harts4ever

I'm sure the admins here have no problems with you posting questions, that's what were here for. Have a look at this tutorial, it outlines the processes of trying to get older programs to run/install in windows 7 - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html
Its worth a shot. Try and run the installer in compitability mode

Regards Danny

I'm not familiar with the software but I have a feeling it uses some DLLs or hooks into Explorer or does something that would cause Windows Seven 64 bit not to work while Windows Seven 32 bit would.

I would try XPMode. There's a Virtualization forum on this board where people who do all that XPMode and VirtualBox stuff will help you get it and set it up. I think it works with Pro version of W7 but they will know for sure on the Virtualization forum:
