Solved How to get access to a legit copy of windows 7 ent/pro.

I have a key that is valid but I do not have access to a clean copy of windows, I have verified that the windows is genuine with ultimate pid checker. I don't know what info from the program I should and shouldn't share. I really want to install a legit copy preferable straight away. I have tried Microsoft Software Recovery but it seems dead.

Would love some help with this.

You could look around for

en_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677332.iso

If you need a different edition, just run ei.cfg tool to make them all available from the one iso.

Thanks this lead me to a source. Is there any way to see if the iso has been tampered with before installing??

You are, I hope, aware that that tool has the potential to farm Product Keys and 'phone home' to be able to send the Key to the maker so that it can be sold to others?
What was the generated Product ID?

From where did you acquire this Key?
If you bought it as a Key-only purchase, unless it was direct from Microsoft, it's almost certainly counterfeit.

Hmm I downloaded en_windows_7_ultimate_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677332.iso and ran a check with HashCalc and the SHA1 = 36ae90defbad9d9539e649b193ae573b77a71c83. I take it this is not legit.

It's from a legit source, he had 2 and is using 1 of them himself. He gave me the spare one and I have been trying to source a clean copy to install with.
