I'm new here. Before asking my first question, I need to know how to list System Spec for my desktop AND laptop, as some questions will involve both machines. Thanks

Hello chiropterist and welcome to Ten Forums.

One your Control Panel (CP) page look for Your Profile > Edit System Spec. There seems to be enough room to add specs for two machines such as: Computer Manufacturer/Model Number 1. Sony Vaio VPCEB47GM Laptop 2. Dell Inspiron 1200 Laptop; OS 1. Win 7 Pro 64-bit 2. Windows XP Pro SP3 64-bit. And so on. Every # 1 refers to the Sony Vaio while every # 2 refers to the Dell Inspiron.

If I misunderstood your question I sincerely apologize. Another alternative is when writing about a machine simply say, "This info applies to the Sony Vaio,,," or this info applies to the Dell Inspiron,,," or this info applies to both machines. I think the people on this Forum will be able to determine which computer needs help. :D

It`s much simpler to click "My System Specs" down in the left corner of your reply, then click "Update your System Specs"

Just put your desktop specs in My System Specs like you`ve already started to, fill it out as much as possible.

You could put your laptop info under the "Other Info" heading of My System Specs.

marsmimar: I added specs for both machines as you suggested.
AddRAM: I also put comments into Other Info, which I would not have thought of.

Now for the fun.
