How to office 2013 REMOVE KMS Client Edition

i have office 2013 kms client edition installed on my computer and now i have mak key so i want to activate using these keys i uninstalled the office 2013 from my computer and reinstalled it again so as to use mak keys for activation but to my great surprise when i checked it shows it office is already activated so could you please help me in how to completely remove kms edition and how can i install using my mak keys
